Easy Bets are a simple way to wager without picking a specific horse. Instead, you choose between groups or number types, making betting quicker and easier.
Types of Easy Bets
Odds vs. Evens
Pick whether the winning horse will have:
- An odd number (1, 3, 5, etc.)
- An even number (2, 4, 6, etc.)
Example:
If horse #3 wins → Odds win
Matchups
Choose between two options (groups of horses):
- Option 1
- Option 2
Whichever option has the best-finishing horse wins, even if that horse doesn’t win the race.
How to Place an Easy Bet
- Go to Today’s Races
- Select a track offering Easy Bets
- Find the Easy Bets section
- Choose your wager type:
- Matchup
- Odds vs. Evens
- Make your selection
- Enter your bet amount
- Submit your wager
You can view your bets anytime under My Bets.
Important Things to Know
- Easy Bets are win-only wagers
- Not all tracks offer Easy Bets
- You are betting on a group, not an individual horse
- Results appear with other race results
- The maximum bet allowed is $500 per wager. Bets exceeding this amount will not be accepted.
What Happens if There Are Scratches?
- Scratched horses still count as part of their group
- Your bet is based on the remaining horses in that group
When Are Easy Bets Refunded?
- Odds vs. Evens: If there are not enough horses on each side
- Matchups: If one entire option is scratched
